The Government will maintain the 60 euro vouchers for school supplies for primary and secondary students in public and subsidized schools for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a maximum allocation of 50 million euros. The aid will again be delivered in the form of a discount redeemable at participating stores and not through a deposit into families' bank accounts.

The continuation of the measure comes after a campaign that benefited over 700,000 students and had a usage rate of over 90% in 2025-2026. Despite this reach, the system will continue to depend on families checking enrollment and locating participating establishments to spend the vouchers within the deadline.

The Government will maintain 60 euros per student with a maximum of 50 million

The aid will be directed to students in I5, primary, and compulsory secondary education, with the exception of fourth year of ESO. Eligibility will be determined based on enrollment registered on May 20, 2026, in the Catalonia Student Registry.

It may also be extended to cases of subsequent enrollment. In practice, it will not be necessary to submit an ordinary application, as the aid will be considered granted at the moment the voucher is redeemed at one of the participating stores.

The vouchers will be sent by email or another system that guarantees their receipt before the start of the academic year. Families can use one or two vouchers directly in-store or give them to the educational center for centralized material purchases.

The campaign limits spending to non-inventoriable products. These include writing materials, stationery, books, dictionaries, calculators, backpacks, and educational games.

More than 2,000 stores participated and redemption will end on November 30

In the 2025-2026 academic year, the measure reached over 700,000 students and mobilized over 2,000 establishments in each campaign. The usage percentage exceeded 90%, a figure that the Government uses as a reference to repeat the direct discount format in stores.

In Girona and in the Girona region as a whole, families will need to ensure that the student's enrollment is correctly recorded and check which stationery stores, bookstores, and other local businesses have joined the campaign. This step will be key to being able to apply the voucher within the authorized period.

The deadline to spend the vouchers will end on November 30, 2026. The aid line will maintain its administrative processing open until December 31, 2026.
