The Girona City Council has opened a new call for accommodation scholarships for students in residences managed by SIRESA Campus. The call offers five grants for the 2026-2027 academic year and applications can be submitted from today until June 12, 2026.
The scholarships cover 100% of the accommodation cost, but do not include water, gas, electricity, deposit, or optional services. The call is distributed between Girona and Barcelona, although it is promoted by the Girona council.
Girona distributes five scholarships between Montilivi and Lesseps square
Two of the grants are for the Residència Universitària Campus de Montilivi, located on Mercè Rodoreda i Gurgui street in Girona. The other three are for the Residència Universitària Lesseps, located in Lesseps square in Barcelona.
In both cases, the coverage reaches 100% of accommodation in double rooms for the entire 2026-2027 academic year. The call affects two specific facilities and distributes more places in the Barcelona residence than in the Girona one.
The call excludes utilities, deposit, and optional services
The grants do not cover all expenses associated with the stay. The costs of water, gas, and electricity, as well as the deposit and any optional services that the student may contract, are excluded from the scholarship's scope.
From today, interested individuals can consult the terms and conditions and the application procedure at www.girona.cat/becaresa. The deadline for submitting applications will be June 12, 2026.
