The rise will be noticeable especially between Friday and the weekend, with clear skies and no precipitation.
The increase comes without active weather warnings in Catalonia from AEMET, although the forecast points to full summer records in regions such as Gironès, Garrotxa, Pla de l'Estany, and interior areas of La Selva. In Girona city, Meteocat places the maximum around 30 degrees.

The regions furthest from the coast will concentrate the highest values. Gironès, Garrotxa, Pla de l'Estany, and points in the interior of La Selva will range between 29 and 31 degrees, with a clearer thermal rise from Friday.
Olot and other inland municipalities will present summer thermal conditions during this episode. The hottest hours will be concentrated between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, the time of day when reducing sun exposure is recommended.
In contrast, Figueres will maintain a warm atmosphere but with somewhat more contained highs in the first few days. The Costa Brava and Blanes will again be below the predicted records in the interior thanks to maritime influence.
Meteocat forecasts clear skies and no rain in the entire area
The weather forecast points to stability in the coming days, with absence of precipitation and clear skies. This scenario will favor the thermal rise continuing during the weekend in the city of Girona and in a large part of its surroundings.
In parallel, meteorological observers on social media are already pointing to values between 30 and 34 degrees in inland areas of Catalonia. These records place the episode in a more marked heat band outside the coast.
Given this temperature increase, the recommendation is to maintain good hydration, avoid intense efforts during the central hours of the day, and seek shade, especially between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
For now, AEMET does not maintain active weather warnings in Catalonia even though Meteocat forecasts highs of up to 30 degrees in Girona city.
