Rodalies train services in Barcelona have once again been suspended this Monday shortly after their progressive restoration was announced. The incident has recurred at Adif's Centralized Traffic Control Center, as reported by Renfe.
Repeated Disruptions at Estació de França
The Rodalies service had started at six in the morning, as planned, although alternative road transport was maintained on some sections. However, around 6:30 AM, traffic was interrupted again due to a new incident at the Adif control center, located at the Estació de França.
Failed Restoration and New Suspension
Shortly after seven in the morning, Renfe reported the progressive resumption of service. This restoration, however, lasted only a few minutes. Before 7:30 a.m., the suspension of all traffic was announced again. The situation affects thousands of users in the metropolitan area and on the main railway lines of Barcelona.
The incident in the control center of Estació de França remains under technical supervision. Renfe and Adif are working to normalize service as soon as possible, although no estimated timeframe for the complete resolution of the problem has been provided at the moment.
