A coordinated police operation in Platja d'Aro and Sant Feliu de Guíxols has concluded with one person arrested, more than twenty identified, and the seizure of electronic material whose origin is under investigation.

Inspection in an occupied premises in Platja d'Aro

The first device was deployed in an occupied premises in Platja d'Aro. Agents of the National Police, Mossos d'Esquadra, and the Local Police identified a dozen people inside. One of them was arrested upon verification that they were in an irregular situation in the State.

During the inspection, agents located several mobile phones, electronic tablets, and two televisions. None of the people present could prove ownership of these devices. The police are investigating whether the seized material could be stolen.

Second operation in Sant Feliu de Guíxols

Days later, the collaboration between police forces allowed for a new operation in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. On this occasion, the action focused on a premises used as a dwelling, although the agents determined that it functioned as a clandestine brothelInside, agents identified about ten women. The presence of Endesa technicians was requested to proceed with the disconnection of the electrical connection, which was illegally connected

Labor inspections and sanctions

After these two operations, inspections were carried out in several establishments in the area. Labor Inspection technicians detected labor irregularities in some of these establishments. Those responsible have been sanctioned for these infractions.The police investigation remains open to clarify the origin of the seized electronic material and determine possible additional responsibilities
