The SEMPRE SALT platform has publicly denounced the lack of action by the Salt City Council regarding a situation it considers a risk to public health at the Negrell pastry shop, on Greco street. The entity speaks of municipal "malpractice" and maintains that, despite the warnings presented for months, the problem remains effectively unresolved.
The complaint focuses on the building's upper terrace, where a continuous accumulation of waste, appliances, and other materials in unsanitary conditions would have been detected. The platform maintains that this situation can favor the appearance of pests, affect neighborhood coexistence, and compromise health, with a particularly sensitive impact given that it is a food establishment where hygiene conditions are essential.
Actions communicated since July
The case chronology starts on July 22, 2025, when a municipal action was required. Months later, on December 14, 2025, an instance was registered in which the seriousness of the problem and a possible violation of health regulations and waste management were warned of.
According to the documentation presented, a subsequent technical inspection confirmed the improper use of the terrace as a space for garbage accumulation. Among the detected items were household materials, construction debris, and scrap metal. The platform maintains that, more than eight months after the first notice, there has been no effective response.
Warning for public health and possible overload
SEMPRE SALT directly links the case with a possible risk to public health. In addition to the consequences derived from the accumulation of waste, the complaint incorporates another warning, that of a possible structural risk due to overloading of the terrace.
The entity considers it "unacceptable" that the administration knew about the situation beforehand and that, even so, no solution has been provided. In that context, it insists that the inaction not only affects the neighborhood environment, but also the commercial fabric of the municipality.

They demand an immediate response
The platform demands immediate action, more transparency in the management of the case, and the assumption of political responsibilities. It also warns that, if a quick solution does not arrive, it will elevate the complaint to higher authorities.
The complainants understand that the lack of action regarding problems affecting commerce and public health represents a failure of the administration as a whole. Pending the adoption of measures, the focus remains on the property on Greco street and on a situation that, according to the platform, remains open.
