Junts per Roses presented Sílvia Ripoll on Friday as the candidate for mayor in an event held at the Hotel Marina, where she positioned security, access to housing, and opportunities for young people as the pillars of her proposal for the municipality.
The candidate focused on two fronts that she linked to the daily life of the town. From the stage of the Hotel Marina, she warned that "neither insecurity nor the loss of trust in institutions can be normalized", a phrase with which she summarized the main line of her speech.
Ripoll places security and housing at the center of her candidacy
During her speech, Ripoll defended a model of government that is "close, demanding, and without excuses." She also advocated for a project based on "leadership, character, and pride in the town," in a direct appeal to municipal management and the local identity of Roses.
In addition to security, the candidate pointed to access to housing and opportunities for young people as priorities of her political program. The speech linked these three areas as part of the same mandate proposal for the city council.

At the same event, Ripoll cited the urban transformation model promoted by Jordi Masquef in Figueres. She presented it as an example of "brave, clear, and close government," with the aim of transferring this reference to the municipal debate in Roses.
Junts supports the candidate with leaders from Roses, Girona, and Figueres
The event was attended by Jordi Alcaide, local president of the party, Maria Àngels Planas, president of Junts in the Vegueria of Girona, and Jordi Masquef, mayor of Figueres. The presence of the three leaders served to symbolize the organic and territorial support for the candidacy.
Jordi Alcaide stated that Junts per Roses faces this new stage "with more strength, experience, and preparation than ever before." For her part, Maria Àngels Planas highlighted Ripoll's profile of proximity and leadership and defended municipal projects "rooted in the territory and focused on people."
