The Meteorological Service of Catalonia has activated the maximum wind alert in about twenty Catalan counties for this Thursday. The warning particularly affects areas of Girona such as La Selva, La Garrotxa, El Ripollès, and La Cerdanya, as well as areas of Barcelonès, Baix Llobregat, Maresme, and other counties in the interior and the PyreneesRed alert in most of the territory

The danger level is red, six out of six, in a large part of Catalonia. The alert is in effect from 7 in the morning of this Wednesday until 1 in the morning of Friday.
