Gossos will perform again on August 1, 2026, in the Ciutadella de Roses, in what will be their only concert that year within the Sons del Món festival. The event will also mark the reunion of Gossos and Lax'n'Busto on the same stage 20 years after their last coincidence.
The band from Manresa will thus return to live performances after the farewell tour it carried out in 2024. It will be their first return to the stage since then and will do so on a night shared with one of the groups with whom they maintain a historical link within Catalan music.
Reunion in Roses two decades later
Lax'n'Busto will perform in Roses as part of the Gira dels 40 anys, with which they will celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2026. The concert in the Ciutadella will bring together again the two formations, who had not shared a stage for two decades.
Lax'n'Busto, led by Pemi Fortuny, was the band that sponsored Gossos in their beginnings. That previous bond adds weight to a performance that the festival has positioned as one of the highlighted dates of the next edition.
The band from Manresa returns after its farewell
Gossos was founded in Manresa in the summer of 1993 and is formed by Natxo Tarrés, Juanjo Muñoz, Roger Farré, Oriol Farré and Santi Serratosa. After stepping down from the stages in 2024, the group has accepted this performance in Roses as a specific return and, for now, unique in 2026.
"The proposal was very tempting" - Gossos
From the band they explain that they have not been able to refuse to go ahead with this concert together with Lax'n'Busto. Natxo Tarrés has especially celebrated the reunion with the other band.
"It makes us very excited to reunite with the inseparable friends of Lax'n'Busto" - Natxo Tarrés, Gossos
"Hopefully it will be a night like those experienced more than fifteen years ago" - Natxo Tarrés, Gossos
A line-up already advanced in Sons del Món
The announcement of this performance adds to other names already communicated by Sons del Món. Pablo Alborán will perform on July 25 to present KM0 in his only summer performance in Catalonia.
The festival lineup also includes Joan Dausà, who will present the Immortals tour, Sergio Dalma with Ritorno a via Dalma, and Rosana on the tour with which she celebrates 30 years since the publication of Lunas Rotas.
The August 1 appointment in Roses will bring together on the same stage two groups with a close relationship since the beginnings of Gossos and will mark a very anticipated one-off return for a band that had said goodbye to live performances just two years earlier.
