The price of rents in the Girona demarcation has experienced a growth of 2.18% in 2025, according to data from the Col·legi d'Agents de la Propietat Immobiliària. This increase is below state inflation, which closed the year at 2.7%.
Decrease in the number of contracts signed
During 2025, 9.778 rental contracts have been signed throughout the Girona demarcation. This figure represents a decrease of 10.94% compared to the previous year. The downward trend is also observed in the city of Girona, where the number of contracts has fallen by 9.5%.
In Figueres, the reduction has been even more pronounced, with a 14.21% fall in rental contracts in the last year. Of the 35 municipalities analyzed, only Bescanó, Platja d'Aro, Santa Cristina d'Aro and Sarrià de Ter have registered an increase in the number of contracts compared to 2024.
Variations of prices by municipalities
The average rental price in the city of Girona closed 2025 at 823,52 euros per month, which represents an increase of 3.34% compared to 2024. In Figueres, the average price stood at 571,33 euros, with an increase of 1.77%.
The case of Tossa de Mar stands out, where the average rental price has reached 703.75 euros, 16.2% more than at the end of 2024. However, in 24 of the 35 municipalities studied, rental prices have grown below the CPI.
