Two people have been arrested in the Girona Est area following an intervention by the Municipal Police related to the possession of narcotic substances. The action is part of a preventive public security operation deployed yesterday at 5:30 PM.

The operation took place when agents stopped a vehicle with two occupants, both approximately between 25 and 26 years old. The Canine Unit participated in the intervention and the dog Mila, specialized in drug detection, indicated the presence of narcotics inside the car.
The detection of the substances motivated the arrest of the two young people for an alleged crime against public health. The officers proceeded to transfer them to police facilities to continue with the proceedings.
