La Rambla de Figueres will concentrate 96 book and rose stalls during the Sant Jordi day on April 23, with continuous activity between 9:00 and 20:00 hours. The city will also deploy a parallel cultural program with literary proposals, music and institutional events in different points of the municipality.

La Rambla, main axis of the day

The core of the celebration will once again be located in La Rambla, where the book and rose stalls will be set up throughout the entire day. Alongside the commercial activity, the program incorporates children's storytelling sessions under the title "It's about brave women and brave men", designed for the family audience.

The day will also include sardanes with the cobla La Principal d"Olot, one of the planned events within the open programming in the center of Figueres.

Literature and music in various spaces of the city

Among the prominent events is the participation of the writer Julià Guillamon in a literary vermouth that will be held on the terrace of the Museu del Joguet de Catalunya. The proposal joins the cultural calendar designed to accompany the diada beyond the stalls of La Rambla.

The eve, Wednesday, April 22, the Revetlla de Sant Jordi has been scheduled at the Teatre Municipal el Jardí. The event is organized by the Biblioteca Fages de Climent and will include the musical show "Lo Cant de les ànimes mudes", based on texts by Víctor Català.

Awards ceremony and lineup of the edition

The agenda for these days is completed with the delivery of the youth awards for high school research papers, scheduled at the Cercle Sport Figuerenc. The poster for this edition, work by Lluís Puigbert, is dedicated to the Casa Natal Salvador Dalí, one of the most recognizable spaces in the city.

With this programming, Figueres will distribute the events of Sant Jordi between La Rambla, cultural facilities and emblematic spaces, in a celebration that will combine books, roses, music and literary activities during two days.
