A massive fight with about fifteen people involved altered this Friday afternoon the carrer Crisantem of the Aiguaviva Parc urbanization, in Vidreres. The incident was registered around 5:45 PM and mobilized the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques in a residential environment where firearm detonations were also heard.
The main hypothesis with which the Catalan police are working points to an alleged attempt to occupy a two-story dwelling. During the confrontation, bullet impacts were detected on the door of a house and also on a vehicle, while two Volkswagen cars collided and one of them ended up embedded against the wall and the door of a home.

The sequence left material damages in several points of the street and one person attended by the health services. The SEM assisted the occupant of the affected dwelling, who presented contusions on the arms. It has not transpired that there were more injured.The Mossos deployed a device at the accesses to Vidreres with ARRO personnel to try to locate those involved or vehicles related to the fight. One of the confronted groups resides, according to the investigations, in the Montbarbat urbanization, in Maçanet de la Selva.
Open investigation with no arrests
No arrests or complaints are recorded for these events, as confirmed by the police force. The investigation remains open and has been left in the hands of the Àrea d'Investigació Criminal de Girona, which seeks to clarify the participation of each of those involved and the exact origin of the altercation.
Among the lines of work, the investigators also contemplate a possible conflict linked to drug trafficking. For now, the Mossos keep the investigations open to determine if the fight, the shots, and the collision of the vehicles are part of the same episode related to that dispute and to identify all participants.
