A man was injured on Sunday around 11:00 PM after falling from a scooter on the Mas Oliva road, near number 60 in Roses. The accident occurred without any other vehicle being involved.

The fall left the driver with a severe blow to the head, injuries to the upper right jaw, and vision disturbances. The agents of the Local Police of Roses could not administer a breathalyzer test due to his condition when he received assistance.

The SEM mobilized three units and transferred the injured man first to Figueres

To the scene of the accident responded officers from the Local Police of Roses, the Bombers de la Generalitat, and three units from the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques. The SEM attended to the man at the very spot of the fall.

Afterwards, the medical personnel evacuated him in a less serious condition to the hospital in Figueres for an initial assessment. Later, the injured man was transferred to the Vall d'Hebron hospital in Barcelona in accordance with the protocol for facial injuries.

For now, the report is in the hands of the Local Police of Roses, which is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident that occurred on the Mas Oliva road. The incident was registered around 11:00 PM on Sunday, near number 60 of this road.

During the intervention, emergency services focused their attention on assisting the driver, who presented injuries to the head and face, as well as vision problems after falling from the scooter.

The subsequent transfer to the Vall d'Hebron hospital in Barcelona was carried out following the established protocol for facial injuries.
