The Local Police of Llagostera identified this Thursday two repeat offenders during a preventive check in the weekly market and in the commercial area of the municipality. They are a 26-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both with numerous records related to thefts in establishments.
Preventive control in the center of Llagostera
The police operation was carried out in the areas with the highest public influx, coinciding with the celebration of the weekly market. The officers detected the two suspects while they were moving in a rental vehicle through the commercial area. During the identification, the police verified that between them both they accumulate more than 35 records linked to thefts.
Objects for the alleged theft hidden under the clothes
During the search, the agents located several objects commonly used to commit shoplifting in stores. Among them, a bag lined with aluminum foil stood out. According to the Local Police, the bag was hidden under the loose clothing they were wearing. This type of bag is used to conceal stolen products and hinder the detection of alarm systems installed at the entrances of establishments.
