A head-on collision between a car and a public bus has partially paralyzed traffic on the AP-7 highway as it passes through Maçanet de la Selva. The accident occurred this Sunday morning on the stretch that runs towards the French border.
The incident alert was triggered at 9:16 AM as confirmed by the emergency services mobilized to assist the victims.
Urgent release of the co-pilot

The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) performed immediate triage on the asphalt to determine the severity of the injuries.
Three affected and 44 unharmed
The paramedics evacuated two men to hospital centers. One of them was transferred to Trueta Hospital in Girona in serious condition, while the other presented a less severe clinical picture.
A woman involved in the accident was discharged from medical care on site after being evaluated by professionals.
None of the 44 passengers on the bus suffered injuries despite the violence of the impact registered on the roadway.
The collision forced the closure of one of the lanes towards France for several hours. This restriction generated significant traffic jams on the highway while officers managed the perimeter security.
The Servei Català de Trànsit kept only one lane open to allow slow passage of vehicles until the cleaning of the area was completed.
