Fiporc and Fira de la Mel, two gastronomic events in the province

The town of Riudellots de la Selva hosts the 13th edition of Fiporc on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22. The event will open both days at 9 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Among the planned activities are exhibition areas, children's workshops, entertainment, a tasting area, and demonstrations of pork butchery.

In Crespià, the Honey Fair celebrates 45 years with a program that includes live music, food trucks, a children's area, workshops, product fairs, exhibitions, walks, and honey tastings at the Polivalent Center. The fair will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

Puigcerdà and Girona, epicenter of music and theater

On Saturday, February 21, the pavilion of the Club Poliesportiu de Puigcerdà will be the setting for the 29th gastronomic exhibition of trinxat. The event will offer local products, a menu with trinxat, live music, and dancing by the Orquestra Montecarlo.

In Girona, the Anticongelant cycle of the Ateneu 24 de juny presents the group Celobert, who will release their EP Xamfrà. This is the first of three EPs that will form their second studio album. Celobert, founded in 2023, already has a debut album titled Llum (2024) and an EP called Ombres (2025).

The musical programming is completed with the premiere in the Girona regions of the tribute show to Amy Winehouse, by Andrea Motis and the Barcelona Gospel Messengers. The repertoire is inspired by the discography of the English artist.

Concerts and exhibitions in Salt and Figueres

On Friday, February 20, the La Mirona hall in Salt will host a double concert by Las Panteras as part of the Black Music Festival, with the participation of Martha "Martica" Galarraga and Eliene Castillo. Oliana Liss will perform as a guest artist.

Until February 22, the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres exhibits the work The Madonna of Portlligat by Salvador Dalí, which has temporarily returned to Catalonia from Japan for the first time in 73 years.

Sunday agenda in Girona

On Sunday, February 22, the Auditori Josep Viader of the Casa de Cultura de Girona hosts a piano concert by Lazar, with works by Chopin, Liszt, and Mendelssohn's Rondo Capriccioso. This recital is part of the Hammerklavier cycle.

The same day, the Girona Municipal Theater will be the stage for the comedy You promised me a love story, written by Helena Tornero and directed by Irsael Solà of La Calòrica.
