Bon Preu will incorporate 650 workers between June and September to reinforce its establishments during the summer campaign in various parts of Catalonia, with vacancies planned in the Costa Brava, Ripollès, Cerdanya, Costa Daurada and the municipality of Tremp.
The food chain, which has more than 11,000 employees on staff, has framed this reinforcement in a period of high footfall in its stores. According to the company, the objective is to guarantee optimal service during the summer months.
Reinforcement in store for the summer campaign
The new hires will be distributed in supermarkets in areas especially linked to the increase in seasonal activity. The new employees will work in fishmonger, butcher, delicatessen, cheese, and bakery sections, in addition to covering cashier and stocking positions.
The vacancies do not require previous experience. Bon Preu has indicated that it offers training and support programs from the first day to facilitate the incorporation of new workers.
Intensive shifts and fixed night shift
The company advocates for a labor model aimed at favoring work-life balance, with intensive morning and afternoon shifts, as well as a fixed night shift. This scheme will be applied to the recruitments planned for the summer campaign.
Applications can be submitted through the Campanya d'estiu section of the Bon Preu website, as the company has indicated.
