The Bombers de la Generalitat activated a device on Saturday night in a car park on Carrer de les Teixidores in Salt following a report of a possible fire. The alert arrived around 10:30 p.m., when several residents detected an intense column of smoke inside the premises and notified the emergency services.
The intervention ended without locating any vehicle on fire, even though the initial fear was that a car would burn inside the car park. The teams were also unable to determine the exact origin of the smoke at first.
Six units inspected the car park without finding any car on fire
Six units from the Bombers de la Generalitat were dispatched to the scene to inspect the car park and check where the smoke was coming from. The inspection focused on the interior of the premises, where residents had located the source of the incident.
During the operation, firefighters carried out inspection and ventilation tasks to clear the space and verify that there was no immediate risk. The column of smoke had caused concern among the residents of the area.
