The Firefighters acted this Monday morning in a fire declared in a home on the promenade dels Països Catalans in Salt. The alert arrived around 1:45 in the morning, when very black smoke was coming out from inside the house.
To the scene were dispatched three units of Firefighters, in addition to personnel from the Local Police of Salt and the Medical Emergency System. The fire affected a two-story dwelling that, according to emergency services, would be uninhabited.
The fire originated in a room
When they arrived at the property, the firefighting teams located the focus of the fire inside the house. What was burning were accumulated residues inside a room, according to the information provided by the emergency services.
Once the flames were extinguished, the Firefighters inspected the dwelling to check if there could be any person inside. They did not find anyone inside the property.
Intervention closed after ventilating the house
After extinguishing the fire, the personnel carried out ventilation tasks in the affected dwelling to evacuate the accumulated smoke. The operation was concluded after that ventilation, without any victims being found inside the house.
