A cybercriminal using the pseudonym 23nk published a leak of personal data of several political leaders on the DoxBin platform on December 10. Among the exposed information are the national identity number, mobile phone number, and home address of Pedro Sánchez, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, María Guardiola, Ada Colau, and several current and former members of Congress.

Personal Data Exposed on DoxBin

The publication has generated concern in political and police circles. The author himself has stated that his intention was not to claim authorship of obtaining the data, but to ensure that the information remains accessible online.

"I don't want to make it seem like this was made by me, I re-uploaded it so this never disappears" - 23nk, author of the post

The leak bears similarities to one carried out in September by N4t0x, a minor arrested after disseminating data of Pedro Sánchez and other public officials. Since July, the National Police has arrested three hackers in operations linked to the leak of data from high-ranking officials.

Judicial and police investigation underway

The General Information Police Department charges the alleged perpetrators with cyberterrorism offenses. The National Court is the competent judicial body to investigate these events. Police experts emphasize that young leakers seek notoriety and impact among their peers.

Investigations have determined that hackers access information through open sources, such as ministry websites, and subsequently compile and disseminate it on platforms like DoxBin or on dark web forums. The National Police infiltrates these channels to monitor movements and detect leaks that could pose a risk to national security.

Collection and Publication of Data from Open Sources

  • The leaked data comes from institutional websites and other open sources.
  • The publication takes place on specialized platforms and hard-to-access forums.
  • Police surveillance in these environments is constant to anticipate possible threats.

The case remains under investigation and further actions are not ruled out in the coming days
