The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested three people, one of them a minor, for a series of robberies with violence and intimidation in Sant Martí and Horta-Guinardó.
The group acted between November 2, 2025, and April 7 in Camp de l'Arpa and Clot, and used electric scooters to approach the victims.
Two records from May 6 left 17 phones and three electric scooters
The investigation places the perpetrators in a dynamic of assaults on vulnerable young people, whom they threatened with bladed weapons to demand that they unlock their phones and thus disable the location.
In the robberies, the agents attribute to the group the theft of mobile phones, documentation, bank cards, cash, and jewelry.
The operation concluded on May 6 with two home searches and the arrest of two involved parties.
During those entries, the Mossos seized documents, bank cards, 17 mobile phones, 30 cases, bladed weapons, handcuffs, three electric scooters, and clothing.
A 22-year-old detainee accumulates 14 priors and seven violent robberies
One of those arrested, aged 22, is also being investigated for seven violent robberies with attempted fraud and two counts of assault.
That same detainee has 14 criminal records, while the alleged leader of the group has already been taken into preventive detention after being brought before the court.
The events occurred between November 2, 2025, and April 7 in various locations in Sant Martí and Horta-Guinardó.
The court agreed to preventive detention for the group's leader after his judicial appearance.
