An incident in the infrastructure between the Clot and Arc de Triomf stations is altering the circulation of Rodalies lines R1, R2 Sur, and R4 in Barcelona this Sunday. Renfe has reported diversions, cancellation of stops, and a reduction in service on several lines.

The main impact is concentrated on access to the city center. While the R1 and R4 maintain trains in circulation, several trains will no longer stop at key stations like Plaça de Catalunya and Arc de Triomf, and the frequency will be reduced to two trains per hour in each direction on the R1 and R2 Sur.

R1 and R4 divert trains via Passeig de Gràcia and eliminate stops in the center

On line R1, trains heading to l'Hospitalet de Llobregat are being diverted via Passeig de Gràcia. Due to this route change, they will not stop at Plaça de Catalunya or Arc de Triomf stations.

Furthermore, the train service for the R1 is reduced to two trains per hour in each direction. The same frequency also applies to line R2 Sur, where the impact is limited to this service reduction.

On the R4, trains heading to Sant Vicenç de Calders are also being diverted via Passeig de Gràcia. On this route, they will not stop at Torre Baró, Fabra i Puig, Sagrera, Arc de Triomf, or Plaça Catalunya.

Renfe establishes a shuttle service between Terrassa and Fabra i Puig

To maintain connectivity on part of the route, Renfe has established a shuttle train between Terrassa and Fabra i Puig. This measure affects one of the stations that the R4 bypasses on trains diverted towards Sant Vicenç de Calders.

The operation of trains between Vilafranca and Manresa is also changing. Starting this Sunday, they will start and end their journey in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat instead of completing the usual route.

The incident is located between the Clot and Arc de Triomf stations, a section that is affecting the passage of lines R1, R2 Sur, and R4 through points such as Sagrera, Fabra i Puig, Plaça de Catalunya, and Arc de Triomf this Sunday.
