A planning for the next decade
Albert Batlle has been in charge of making this strategic plan known, focused on adapting the Firefighters' service to a more complex operational context. The municipal forecast involves strengthening response capacity to incidents associated with the urban environment, climate impact, and technological changes.
The plan is framed within the structure of L'Ajuntament and sets the work horizon for the next decade. The application period will be from 2026 to 2035, a stage in which the service must adjust resources, organization, and priorities to new intervention needs.
Response to urban, climatic, and technological risks
The presented proposal focuses on three major areas of action. On the one hand, urban risks. On the other, scenarios derived from climatic factors. And also those linked to technological development. The intention is to adapt the functioning of the Firefighters service to this evolution of the environment.
With this presentation, The City Council opens a new planning stage for the emergency body, with a defined strategy to face the foreseen challenges until 2035.
