The Central Library of Terrassa will join on Sunday, May 24, the celebration of European Parks Day with a day of activities focused on environmental awareness and the use of the city's green spaces.
The proposal stems from a paradox close to the local reader. The program is organized from an urban facility like the library, but it seeks to draw attention to the preservation of the natural spaces in the Terrassa area, with Vallparadís as one of the settings for the day.

The activity will be developed under the slogan "Parks and libraries... naturally!" drives the day, an initiative of the Network of Natural Parks of the Diputació de Barcelona.
During the day, the Central Library will host seed bomb workshops, scavenger hunts, participatory storytelling, and an escape room. The program will also include guided tours to Vallparadís, one of Terrassa's most recognizable green spaces.
The combination of indoor and outdoor activities seeks to bring the environmental message to different audiences. The day links the cultural function of the library with the knowledge of the closest natural environment.

In addition to the activities within the facility, the tour of Vallparadís will take the commemoration outside the Central Library and connect it with one of the municipality's major green axes.
