Terrassa surpassed the November 2025 record with 105,535 members
The figure exceeds the previous ceiling of 105,220 affiliates and confirms the continuity of the advance of the local labor market at the start of spring. The monthly increase affected both men, who reached 55,775 affiliates, and women, who added 49,755.
In April there were 110,935 affiliations.
That total, which includes several contribution situations for the same person, also marked a historic high. Compared to March, it rose by 715 and, compared to the same month of the previous year, the increase was 2,825.
By ages, all segments advanced in parallel. The 30 to 44 year old group added 155 affiliates and reached 33,840, the 45 to 54 year old group added 105 up to 30,835, those under 30 grew by 170 up to 19,960 and those over 55 incorporated 185 up to 20,900.
Affiliates of Spanish and foreign nationality also grew equally. Both groups increased by 305 people in April, to 90,675 in the first case and 14,855 in the second.

With that evolution, the estimated registered unemployment rate stood at 9.68%. The reduction in unemployment coincided with a broader employment base and an increase in employment across all age groups, a behavior that was not concentrated in a single segment of the labor market.
