The Nalu TCA center, specializing in eating disorders, will open on June 12 in Terrassa in the old Caixa Terrassa office in placeta de Saragossa. The launch will be partial and will start only on the first floor of the building.

The opening arrives with a staggered formula. Although the facility will have capacity for 24 people with anorexia, bulimia, or other eating disorders, the Day Hospital will not yet be operational in this first phase, which will be pending a second stage with no foreseen date.

The center will open on June 12 with only outpatient treatments

At the start, Nalu TCA will offer individual psychotherapy treatments and intensive programs that do not require hospitalization. The activity will be concentrated on the first floor of the building located in the small square of Saragossa.

The project will be installed in a central point of Terrassa, in the old premises of Caixa Terrassa. The choice of the building allows the service to be activated before completing all the equipment planned for the entire center.

The Day Hospital awaits permits from the Department of Health

The second phase will include the opening of the Day Hospital on the ground floor. To get it up and running, the promoters are managing permits with the Departament de Salut, although for now there is no fixed date for that expansion.

When the center is fully equipped, it will have a dozen rooms for individual attention and group therapies. It will also incorporate a therapeutic kitchen and dining room, two spaces linked to the approach of eating disorders.

The complete equipment forecast sets a total capacity of 24 places for people with anorexia, bulimia, or other disorders. The last pending step to deploy all services involves the authorization of the Day Hospital on the ground floor.
