The singer from Sabadell, Sergio Dalma, has addressed the historic rivalry between his hometown and Terrassa during his participation in the program "La Revuelta" on Spanish Television. The artist took advantage of the interview to deny any current conflict with the neighbors of the neighboring town, assuring that the tensions of the past have been overcome.
David Broncano, presenter of the television show, brought to the musical stage the question about the historical confrontation between both populations. Dalma recognized without beating around the bush that Terrassa is the traditional rival of Sabadell, a competition that has its roots in the textile industry and in the dispute for being the capital of Vallès Occidental.
An industrial rivalry of the past
The musician explained that the friction between both cities originated decades ago due to economic competition derived from the textile sector. Despite this historical legacy, the artist insisted that the situation has changed radically in recent times. His message was clear when stating that, luckily, the relationship between both towns is already good.

When the presenter proposed dedicating nice words to the other co-capital of Vallès, Dalma's response was a resounding yes. The singer from Sabadell emphasized that there are currently no fights or friction with the people of Terrassa, thus closing any doubt about the present coexistence between both cities.
