The AVAN Foundation has served 1.302 people and has registered 500 first visits throughout 2025, in a year marked by the growth of care for people with neurological diseases and also their families.
The entity thus consolidates an activity on the rise in assistance and social accompaniment, with an increase in demand that has been noted both in new incorporations and in the continuity of follow-up for users and family environments.
More attention and economic support to vulnerable families
One of the focuses this year has been the program No estàs sol, which has allowed to allocate 47,000 euros in scholarships to facilitate access to services for people and families in vulnerable situations. The foundation positions this instrument as a way to prevent the economic situation from being a barrier to accessing care.

The line of aid is framed within the will to expand coverage and sustain care processes that, in many cases, require continuity and specialized support both for patients and for their closest environment.
Expansion in Terrassa
During 2025, AVAN has also taken a step in its territorial expansion with the inauguration of a new center in Terrassa. The opening is proposed as a way to reinforce proximity and expand the care capacity in the city.
The entity also continues working on the implementation of a new day center in Terrassa, a resource that will have to reinforce the care capacity in the city and its surroundings and respond to the growing demand for continuous support for families.
An expansion supported by the support network
The foundation attributes this growth to the involvement of professionals, volunteers, members, collaborating companies and institutions, a network that has allowed to sustain the expansion of services and the territorial extension.

With this balance of 2025, the entity strengthens its presence in Terrassa and maintains the focus on more accessible, close, and continuous care for people with neurological diseases and their families.
