The increase occurred in all types of emergencies, although security alerts continued to be the main reason for calls with 34% of the total, ahead of healthcare assistance with 31%. The rise affected all categories and ranged between 6% and 34% compared to the previous year.

Operational calls are those that require the activation of emergency and security services. In the breakdown by reason, traffic represented 14% of the alerts handled in the region, while civic duty and fires each accounted for 5%.
In addition to Terrassa, the volume of calls places Vallès Occidental within the upward trend detected in the metropolitan area. In 2025, the Barcelona vegueria handled 1.7 million operational calls, an 8% increase from the previous year.

This volume is equivalent to 67% of the total operational calls registered in Catalonia. The data confirm that the pressure on 112 increased both in the region and in the entire Barcelona vegueria.
Among the peaks of activity during the year were three specific days. New Year's Eve, the Sant Joan festival, and the electrical blackout on April 28 were the busiest days for the service.
