The municipal group L'Hospitalet en Comú Podem has demanded from the council forceful actions against crime in the Collblanc-la Torrassa neighborhood. The request arises after two violent incidents recorded this week in the area.
A shooting took place on Monday in an establishment on Rambla Catalana. On Friday night, a stabbing occurred on Mare de Déu dels Desemparats street.
Citizens call a press conference to denounce insecurity
The association Stop Degradació Collblanc-la Torrassa has called a press conference for Friday, May 8. The objective is to denounce the situation of insecurity and the overflow of cleaning services in the area.

Manuel Domínguez, spokesperson for the municipal group, has demanded police action against organized crime in the neighborhood. The political party considers that the current response is insufficient given the seriousness of the events.
The opposition demands accountability from the municipal government
Councilwoman Laura Alzamora has denounced the lack of cleaning and the deficient maintenance of public spaces. She asked what the city government is doing and stated that it is not acting.
L'Hospitalet en Comú Podem has requested from the district councilor, Olga Gómez, the convening of an extraordinary district council. The measure seeks to demand responsibilities from the local executive for the management of security and services.
