The municipal plenary session of May in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat is marked by two violent episodes in Collblanc-La Torrassa, where a shooting and a stabbing have occurred. The municipal group of the PP has placed both events at the center of its demands and asks to reinforce police presence and security measures in the city.
The party brings to the municipal debate a paradox that fully affects the district. While more resources are demanded after the latest incidents, it maintains that proximity tools already approved in the plenary, such as the specific neighborhood unit and the direct telephone of the Guàrdia Urbana, have not yet been recovered.

Sonia Esplugas, spokesperson for the municipal PP group, asks to recover the proximity unit and reinforce coordination with the Mossos d'Esquadra. She also demands the arrival of more personnel in L'Hospitalet, in line with what the Minister of the Interior, Núria Parlon, announced at the last security meeting.

In the same plenary session, the municipal group will also focus on an audit commissioned by the Ajuntament that has detected deficiencies in the facilities of some nursery schools. The incidents affect areas related to safety, air conditioning, and sanitation.

The municipal group has requested a meeting to learn about the urgent action calendar with which the local government plans to correct these shortcomings. Another of the requests registered by the PP affects the cultural and educational activity of the city. Given the closure of the Teatre Joventut for works, the party requests the habilitation of new municipal spaces that allow the free celebration of school activities to be maintained.
The proposal aims to prevent the suspension of the use of the facility from leaving programs aimed at educational centers without an outlet.
