A man suffered a minor arm injury after being shot around five in the morning on Saturday, May 30, in the vicinity of the Florida housing blocks, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The SEM transferred him to Bellvitge Hospital, while the Mossos d'Esquadra took over the investigation.
The case comes after two other incidents involving firearms registered in the city during May. In less than a month, L'Hospitalet has had three shootings in different neighborhoods without the motive or exact circumstances of the latest attack being known for now.

The latest incident occurred next to the Florida housing blocks, during an early morning timeframe that also appears in one of the previous incidents this month. Catalan police have not located the alleged perpetrator of the shooting.
Furthermore, the investigation is progressing with an added difficulty. The Mossos d'Esquadra have confirmed that the victim's limited cooperation complicates the clarification of the facts.
Before this case, the first shooting of the month occurred on May 4 around 6:30 AM at the Josué bar, at number 55 of rambla Catalana, in the Collblanc-la Torrassa neighborhood.
One arrested in Sant Josep and a third perpetrator still at large
The second incident took place in the early morning of May 17 on carrer Batllori, in the Sant Josep neighborhood. The Guàrdia Urbana and the Mossos d'Esquadra acted jointly there.
That operation ended with the arrest of a man related to the events, an outcome that contrasts with the attack registered now in Florida, where the alleged perpetrator remains at large.
For now, investigators have not specified the cause of the Saturday morning shooting nor have they clarified the circumstances under which the attack occurred. The victim of the latest shooting was transferred to Bellvitge Hospital with a minor arm injury.
The May tally in L'Hospitalet includes a shooting on the rambla Catalana in Collblanc-la Torrassa on May 4, another on carrer Batllori in Sant Josep during the early morning of May 17, and the shooting registered on Saturday, May 30, in the vicinity of the Florida housing blocks.
