The CEV L'Hospitalet has achieved promotion to the men's Superlliga 2 of volleyball after reaching the semifinals of the final phase of the Primera Nacional, a category jump that comes after a solid trajectory in the decisive phase of the championship.
The team led by Szymon Pniewski closed its presence in the mini-league as second in the group, a sufficient result to secure promotion and continue in the fight for the title in this final phase.
Qualification sealed after finishing second of group
The team from L'Hospitalet started this final phase with a 3-0 defeat against CV Elx, but managed to recover in the following matches. The victories against the University of Granada and Sporting de Sòria allowed the Catalan block to stay among the best and confirm their presence in the semifinals.
That ticket for the semifinals has automatically meant promotion to the men's Superliga 2, one of the objectives set by the club this season.
Next match this Saturday
With promotion already secured, Hidropres CEV L'Hospitalet will now face the semifinal scheduled for this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. against CV Pòrtol, in a clash that will decide if the team can continue advancing in the final phase.
The Hospitalet team arrives at that duel after having overcome a demanding group and with the reward already guaranteed of competing next season in a higher category.
