The municipal device enabled in the Recinte firal de La Farga will attend this Tuesday, April 21, 2,450 people to streamline the procedures linked to the extraordinary regularization process. The operation, promoted by the City Council of L'Hospitalet, will remain active until April 30 from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 19:00 hours.
This Tuesday's session will start with priority attention to 293 people who could not be attended to on Monday afternoon. These will receive their number to go first. Afterwards, entry will be given to 2,150 new people and, once that figure is reached, a number will be given to those who remain outside to be attended to first thing on Wednesday.
A specific device for residents in L'Hospitalet
The service is restricted exclusively to residents registered in L'Hospitalet. In this space, the certificate of registration and the vulnerability report are processed, while the regularization procedure as such must be completed afterwards in the Post Office branches and Social Security offices.
To sustain the operation, 19 citizen service points have been enabled with the participation of volunteer officials. On Monday, 2,172 people passed through the venue, with a service rate of 300 per hour.
Forecast until end of month
The City Council estimates that about 27,000 migrant people from the city can benefit from this process. The extraordinary reinforcement in La Farga will be maintained until April 30 and, once this phase ends, attention will be reinforced in the OACs and in the council offices until June 30, coinciding with the closure of the extraordinary regularization process.
Among the people attended this Monday, some highlighted an improvement in the organization compared to the first days. Sara explained her experience after completing the process.
"I have waited about six hours, but it has been worth it and we are very grateful. I believe that the device gives a little more order than the first days" - Sara
In the same vein, Vanessa valued the speed of the care circuit once inside the premises.
"It has been very smooth and very fast. Although I have been waiting many hours, there were many people in the queue, but the process is very fast. They attended to me quickly and very well, honestly" - Vanessa
The municipal objective now passes through absorbing the daily demand without large pockets of pending people being left again at the end of each day, in a device that these days concentrates a good part of the administrative pressure linked to regularization in the city.
