The L'Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council has opened the period this Tuesday to apply for a place in the nursery schools for the next academic year. Families have until May 22 to formalize the pre-registration in the public and private subsidized centers of the city.
The municipal and subsidized educational offer adds up to a total of 785 vacant places available for the new academic season. This number includes the open spots in public nurseries and those private ones that receive financial aid from the city council.
Sixteen centers participate in the admission process
Sixteen educational facilities distributed throughout the municipal area are participating in this call. The network is composed of six municipal nurseries and three managed directly by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Five subsidized private centers are also incorporated, which will become part of the Municipal Nursery Network during the 2026-2027 school year. Two additional private nursery schools, which maintain their current regime, complete the offer.
Parents and legal guardians can process the application through the electronic headquarters of the City Council. There is also the option to carry out the process in person, although it is mandatory to make a prior appointment at any of the participating centers.

Direct attention to families is centralized in the Municipal Schooling Office, located at Llobregat street, 141. Users can also go to the citizen attention offices at Girona street, 10, and Primavera avenue, 71.
The phone 10 02 77 handles inquiries made from outside L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. For those who need help with digital procedures, the city council has set up support points at the Ana Díaz Rico Municipal Center and at the TIC Truck Collblanc.
The MercaTIC installed in the Municipal Markets of Centro, Santa Eulàlia, and Bellvitge also offer technical support. These spaces facilitate access to digital administration for users with less computer knowledge.

After the deadline, the calendar marks June 1 as the deadline to publish the provisional lists. Those interested may submit claims between June 2 and June 4 if they detect errors in the scoring.
The definitive lists will be made public on June 9. The following day, June 10, a telematic public draw will be held to resolve ties in the applicants' scores.
The official enrollment period runs from June 16 to June 25. Admitted families must confirm their place within these dates to guarantee access to the assigned center.
