L'Hospitalet will activate from April 23 to 26 a special operation for the Festes de Primavera with more than 300 reinforcement professionals in security, prevention, cleaning and mobility. The operation will be deployed in different points of the municipality coinciding with the acts planned during four days.
Joint plan of Guardia Urbana and Mossos
The Urban Guard of L'Hospitalet and the Mossos d'Esquadra have prepared a joint security and coexistence plan for the festivities. The objective is to reinforce the operational presence and provide coverage to the spaces with greater public influx during the festive program.
Within this device, the new RADAR safe space will be launched, conceived to prevent machista violence, LGTBI-phobic violence, and hate speech. The measure adds to the planned points of attention during the weekend in various enclaves of the city.
Punt Lila in La Remunta and Bellvitge
El Punt Lila will offer attention and accompaniment on Friday, April 24 in La Remonta between 20 and 1 h, and in the plaza de la Baldosa, in Bellvitge, between 18 and 1 h.
On Saturday, April 25, it will again be operational in the Remunta park from 8 PM to 1 AM and in the Baldosa de Bellvitge square from 6 PM to 1 AM. On Sunday, April 26, the service will be maintained in the Remunta park between 7 PM and 9 PM.
Reinforcement of cleaning during the entire party
The cleaning service will incorporate additional teams in morning and afternoon shifts from Thursday, April 23. The reinforcement will intensify during the weekend with between two and three extra teams in the morning, one in the afternoon, and a supplementary night team with water blasting equipment.
Cuts and traffic affectations
In mobility, Rambla de la Marina will be cut off between Thursday 23 and Sunday 26 of April from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. due to the Beer Fair. The restriction will affect the section comprised between Carrilet avenue and Enric Prat de la Riba street.
There will also be disruptions on Barcelona street on Friday, April 24 between 20 and 22.30 h due to the Paseo Nocturno de Bestiario. In this case, the affected section will be the one located between Tecla Sala street and Riera de la Creu street.
With this deployment, the City Council wants to cover the main events of the Spring Festivals and organize the activity in the spaces with the highest concentration of public, especially in La Remunta, Bellvitge and the surroundings of the Rambla de la Marina.
