The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 28-year-old man for assaulting another person during a fight in L'Hospitalet. The events occurred at 11:00 PM on Friday on Madre de Dios de los Desamparados street, in the Torrassa neighborhood.
Police intervention and medical attention
Several patrols of the Mossos and ambulances from the Medical Emergency System went to the scene of the events. A 43-year-old man was seriously injured and was transferred to a hospital center.
The suspect was arrested after going to the hospital, as he was also injured in the confrontation. The arrest occurred while the alleged aggressor was receiving medical treatment for his own injuries.
Ongoing investigation
The Investigation Unit of the Mossos d'Esquadra police station in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat is working to clarify the motives and identify other people involved. The authorities are keeping the investigation open to determine if there are more participants in the altercation.
