Barcelona will host on Sunday, May 10, the twenty-eighth edition of the Cursa El Corte Inglés. The race will gather 40,000 runners on an urban route that will start at 9 a.m. from Avinguda Diagonal.

The celebration of the race will cause significant disruptions in mobility from 5 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m. Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) has confirmed that about thirty bus lines will have their usual routes diverted or limited.
The affected lines include D40, D50, H6, H8, H10, H12, H16, V3, V5, V7, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, V21, 6, 7, 19, 22, 24, 27, 33, 34, 39, 47, 54, 55, 59, 63, 67, 68, 78, 113 and 141. The Barcelona Bus Turístic service will also be interrupted on its blue and red routes.
The TRAM will suffer specific incidents on its network. Lines T1, T2, and T3 will remain interrupted between the Francesc Macià and Zona Universitària stops from 5 a.m. due to event assembly tasks.

TMB prioritizes the metro to access the exit area
The transport operator recommends the use of the metro as the main alternative for traveling around the event area. To facilitate the arrival of athletes, it is suggested to access directly to the Maria Cristina station on line L3.
"40,000 single tickets will be provided to runners at the bib collection point" - Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB)
This measure seeks to speed up the participants' movements on the day of the test. The organization hopes that this massive distribution of transport tickets will reduce congestion at the entrances to the start area during the early morning hours.
