The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the death of a 53-year-old man that occurred on the night of Saturday, April 18, in Meguidó square, in the Barcelona neighborhood of Sant Genís dels Agudells. The alert reached the police at 22:28 hours due to a fight in front of the Centre Cívic Casa Groga.
When the agents received the alert, the victim had already been seriously injured. The investigation suggests that the man would have tried to mediate in the fight between two people when one of those involved allegedly used a bladed weapon and stabbed him in the back.

The Divisió d"Investigació Criminal has taken charge of the investigations to clarify the circumstances of the crime and identify all responsibilities.
