A person has been injured by a bladed weapon in a massive fight registered at the Coll la Teixonera metro station, in Barcelona, during the midnight from Saturday to Sunday. The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested 13 people for these events, among them six minors.
The confrontation occurred between two groups of people at this L5 station. During the fight, one of them suffered a stabbing. For now, no more details have emerged about the victim's condition.
Detained at the next stop of the L5
The arrests were made at the Vall d"Hebron Sant Genís station, the next stop on the same line. The arrested individuals are being investigated for an alleged crime of injury and another of tumultuous brawl.
Among the 13 detainees there are six minors, while the rest are adults. The police action focused on locating those involved shortly after the fight and securing the intervention in the subway environment.
Open investigation
The Mossos d'Esquadra have taken charge of the investigation to clarify how the confrontation started and specify the degree of participation of each of the arrested persons. The case remains open.
The investigation will now have to determine the exact sequence of the aggression and the role of the two groups involved in a fight that ended with a person wounded by a bladed weapon at Coll la Teixonera station and with 13 arrested in the following section of the L5.
