The Guardia Urbana arrested two brothers, aged 33 and 43, on Thursday night accused of extorting and assaulting the owners of a grocery store in the Secà neighborhood of Lleida. The events occurred around 8:30 p.m. in an establishment in Plaça Sant Pere.
The police intervention places the origin of the attack in an attempt to take over the business. The arrested individuals, according to the data provided on the case, threatened and coerced the owners to leave the store with the intention of running it themselves and then assaulted them.
The attack left three injured transferred to Arnau de Vilanova
The System of Medical Emergencies treated three victims with bruises and blows and evacuated them to the Arnau de Vilanova hospital. The assault affected the establishment's owners in the middle of Plaça Sant Pere, one of the points in the Secà neighborhood.
Shortly after, two of the injured were discharged from the hospital. The third injured person remained hospitalized.
