The National Police arrested three men in Lleida accused of trafficking heroin and cocaine after an investigation that began with an anonymous tip. The officers arrested them when they were allegedly about to make a sale and then searched the apartment in the city center that they used as a warehouse and distribution point.
The operation focuses on a property used as a stash house in the city center, a point from which the group kept the drugs and prepared them for immediate sale. Investigators consider the three arrested individuals to be the leaders of a network that brought the substance into Spain from Holland.
The search found 783 grams of heroin and more than four kilos for adulteration
Upon entering the residence, officers found 783 grams of heroin, 24 grams of cocaine, and 4,109 grams of substances intended for cutting and adulteration. They also found 2,400 euros in cash.
A large portion of the drugs was already packaged for immediate distribution, indicating an advanced stage of preparation before sale. The value of the seized substances exceeded 50,000 euros on the illicit market.
The investigation began with an anonymous tip and ended with the suspects on their way to a sale
The investigation began with an anonymous tip that alerted authorities to the activity in the property. Based on these initial inquiries, the National Police linked the apartment in the center of Lleida to the storage and distribution of narcotics.
Finally, officers intercepted the three suspects when they were about to make a sale, a moment that precipitated their arrest and the subsequent search of the residence. The operation dismantled the point the group used as a base to move drugs in the city.
In the vicinity of the property, several neighbors expressed their gratitude for the police operation due to the insecurity they suffered in the area. In the apartment, officers also seized 2,400 euros in cash.
