The N-230 will have traffic restrictions between Monday, May 25, and June 19 due to pavement rehabilitation work on a 49.1-kilometer stretch between points 124.9 and 174 of the road. The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will act on a basic axis of connection for the Pyrenees that crosses municipalities in l'Alta Ribagorça and Val d'Aran.
The road will not be completely closed, but the work will require traffic regulation with alternating passage through the free lane and specific signage. The impact will be concentrated from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and on Fridays until 1:00 PM.
The works will affect five municipalities between Pont de Suert and Vilamòs
The section under construction passes through Pont de Suert and Vilaller, in l'Alta Ribagorça, and through Vielha e Mijaran, Es Bòrdes, and Vilamòs, in Val d'Aran. The action will be deployed over almost fifty kilometers of a road with strategic importance in the mobility of the Lleida Pyrenees.
Workers will carry out milling, asphalt replacement, and repainting of road markings. The plan aims to renew the pavement and improve road safety conditions on a road that connects different centers in the north of Lleida.
Alternating passage will operate up to 10 hours a day from Monday to Thursday
During the scheduled time slots, traffic will circulate with alternating passage through the lane that remains free as the pavement rehabilitation progresses. On Fridays, the restriction will end earlier and will be lifted at 1:00 PM.
In addition to the specific schedule, the ministry places the intervention within the state road conservation and maintenance contract for Lleida and Tarragona corresponding to the 2024-2027 period. This program brings together ordinary improvement actions on the state network in both provinces.
The total investment for this contract amounts to 15.1 million euros.
