A fire on a fifth floor on Roca Labrador street in Lleida forced the mobilization of seven units of the Bombers de la Generalitat yesterday at noon and the temporary evacuation of fifteen people from the building. The fire was extinguished before 2:00 PM.

The fire did not cause injuries, but it did affect a large part of the dwelling where it broke out. That difference between the absence of personal damage and the material extent of the fire marked the intervention in the property.

The Urban Guard evicted fifteen people from the building

The notice arrived at the emergency services at 12:18 PM. From that moment on, the Bombers de la Generalitat activated seven units to work in the affected apartment on Roca Labrador street.

While the extinction tasks lasted, members of the Guàrdia Urbana temporarily evacuated fifteen residents of the building. All were able to return to their homes later once the operation was finished.

The fire affected a large part of the fifth floor that burned

The flames concentrated on the dwelling located on the fifth floor and damaged a good part of the building. Despite this damage, emergency services did not attend to any injured persons.

Upon completion of the intervention, only one neighbor could not return home. This is the resident of the affected apartment, who will remain housed with a relative until the safety of the dwelling is guaranteed.

The Bombers de la Generalitat declared the fire extinguished before 2:00 PM, less than two hours after the alert registered at 12:18 PM.
