The APDCAT, at the Information Society Annual Forum – SICARM – Symposium of the ICT Law Network, from 19 to 21 May, in MurciaPublish date: 14/05/2010
The
aim of this symposium is to analyse the new technological situation created as
a result of the generalisation of Internet use and the effects of this in terms
of Law 15/1999, on Personal Data Protection (LOPD).
The
2010 SICARM (Murcia Region Information Society) Symposium is thus a meeting
point for the discussion and analysis of a new adaptation of the legal
positioning on which guarantee of the right to personal data protection has
traditionally been based. Santiago Farré Tous, head of the Legal Advice
Department, will take part in representation of the APDCAT as a speaker at the
round table entitled "Simplification, efficiency and personal data protection
in e-administration. What does the national interoperability scheme bring?",
which will take place on 20 May. Santiago Farré will address the effect of data
protection on the exchange of information between public administrations
through electronic mediums.
This is the second consecutive year in which the APDCAT will participate in the SICARM Symposium, in line with its policy of bringing attendees closer to the main elements of data protection legislation. If you would like further information about the conference, please see the SIRCAM website and the activities programme in its SIRCAM Communications page (only Spanish version available). |
